MY AVON STORY
In 2007, I was working in the corporate world and made a stop at a local department store on the way home to pick up a bottle of foundation. After learning the foundation I used had been discontinued (again), I walked out of the store frustrated and disappointed. I became determined to find a foundation that was as good as the department store brands with a lower price tag. I was also pregnant and looking for a way to reduce household expenses so I could become a stay-at-home mom.
On the way to my car I noticed an AVON store. I am ashamed to say at that time I didn't really know what AVON was, but thought they carried makeup. I took a gamble and went inside to check it out. Much to my delight, not only did AVON have makeup, but also skin care, fragrance, jewelry and more! The store owner helped me select the foundation that was perfect for my skin and my love for AVON was born!
Over the next couple of years I gradually changed my makeup and skin care over to AVON products. One day I was in the AVON store and saw an ad about selling AVON products, which peaked my interest. At this point in my life, I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, but our family also needed some additional income. So, I took the plunge, signed up, and have loved being an AVON Representative! Not only does selling AVON bring in income for our family, but I also can purchase products at a discount and get the chance to connect with new people. The best part is I can take my child with me and work my business the way I want, when I want! Selling AVON gives me the flexibility to put my family first.
Through the years selling AVON, I have been able to achieve sales awards including President's Club, Honor Society, 2012 #2 in District Sales Increase, and #1 in Online Sales for the District in 2015 and 2016.
